Transfer of Ownership
At this time, we do not offer a buy-back program and we do not have a way to assist you in the marketing of your lots and/or merchandise. If you wish to dispose of your lots and/or merchandise, you may sell or transfer those items to another person, persons, or charity, provided you follow our policy governing transfers. Please find our Policy of Instruction for Transfers here.
Once you have decided who you want to sell or transfer your items to, you must submit the request form below so our office can prepare the transfer documents. Please note the below form does not complete the transfer, it just provides our office with the information necessary to prepare the transfer documents. This process can take two months or longer, depending on the amount of at-need burial matters we have at the time of request. In the alternative, you can have an attorney prepare your transfer documents. If you are interested in this option, please let us know and we can provide them with instructions to ensure that their documents meet our legal requirements.
Administrative fees for updating our internal records do apply, whether we prepare the documents or an attorney prepares them for you.
If you need a Virginia Small Estate Affidavit, a sample document can be found here.
If you would like us to confirm what you own, please click here and submit an Other Inquiry form with as much information as you are able to provide (i.e. full legal name, name of spouse (if purchased together), alternative (maiden) name that items might've been purchased in, contract number, etc.) and we will respond with the requested information.
